and after extensive deliberation, put my money where my mouth was/is

I want to dance with reckless abandon

I want to go to a place where music and dance is a human right, not a 'talent' to be 'nurtured' or exploited.

I want to merge with a universal groove ... before I'm too old and stiff and grumpy

I'm prepared to discover that the whole idealised 'lived' cultural thing is a utopia that no longer exists .. that the planet has been so fucked over by the Western world that what I'm confronted with is a watermark of what came before... that the poverty I'm confronted with will leave me feeling mildly paralyzed with guilt...

But if I don't catch some dire, life threatening disease or fall in an open sewer, it should at least be fun .. educational .. challenging... and provide a different perspective on the world, the way that others live and another reminder of what a privileged life I lead ... but somehow culturally bereft ... which always leaves me , a bit empty and prone to existential crisis... but what's life for anyway?
